A Toast to the New Generation

On April 18, 2019, Delivering Good officially welcomed the new Associate Council into the family. The kick-off event, which was held at the retail space of Slightly Alabama in SOHO, was attended by young professionals in the fashion and retail industries interested in learning about Delivering Good’s efforts and supporting this new initiative. Associate Council members include: Jeannette Ferran Astorga, Danielle Jackson, Matt Kaden, Amber Mundinger (Co-Chair), Emily Olah (Co-Chair), Sam Permutt, Emma Postal, Emily Shulan and Christina Tafaro.

The Council is a group of engaged professionals dedicated to lending their time, talents and energy to raise funds for Delivering Good. As the organization’s next generation of leaders and supporters, the Associate Council serves as advocates for Delivering Good’s crucial work serving those impacted by poverty and disasters.

Amber Mundinger welcomed Council members and their guests, and talked about future projects the group is planning. David Greenstein, Delivering Good board member, shared about his long-standing involvement with the organization and the impact he has seen first-hand. The night was filled with inspiring conversations and served to forge deeper connections and relationships among young thought leaders in the industry to encourage philanthropic support to families and individuals in need of assistance during difficult times.
