On Your Feet, Inc., a non-profit organization based in Southern California, has taken the initiative to help those impacted by the recent wildfires in Northern California rebuild their lives. The organization has distributed almost $70,000 worth of gift cards from Walmart and Target as well as $700 in Visa gift cards to families in the region.
Additionally, after connecting with families who has lost their homes, On Your Feet staff and volunteers served the town of Redding for two weeks by visiting burnt-out areas and distributing gift cards and offering support with their very own helping hands and open hearts.
“One of the families we helped in Redding was a father and son that lost their family,” recalls Clayton Hill, CFO of On Your Feet, Inc. “He received a call from his wife saying that the wind had shifted and the fire was right outside their back door…but with the shift in the wind, he could not make it back in time. We made sure that he and his son were taken care of.”
On Your Feet, Inc. continues to grow with each initiative and hopes to further expand the organization and its mission in the coming years. “Delivering Good has helped us surpass our goals. With their help, we can help around the world.” says Hill.
