This holiday season, American Eagle and Delivering Good have partnered to help provide clothing and goods to those in need, including homeless and underprivileged young adults. American Eagle designed a Holiday Capsule Collection, including shirts, hoodies and winter hats, with 100% of sales supporting Delivering Good’s mission.
Youth homelessness is a crisis in the United States. The Department of Justice estimates that every year, over 1.7 million teens experience homelessness in the US and according to HUD’s 2014 Report, 34% of the total homeless population in under age 24. Approximately 40% of homeless teens identify as LGBTQ. (Source: www.dosomething.org). Delivering Good and American Eagle are dedicated to supporting this vulnerable community through Delivering Good’s network of community partners.
American Eagle has been a long-time supporter of Delivering Good and has provided over 70,000 brand new hats, accessories and gift boxes to young adults across the country. Their generous donations over the years and this year’s generous contribution help young people in need get back on their feet during challenging times.
In addition to American Eagle’s generous donation, Aerie is donating period packs to teens and young women in need throughout the United States. These period packs will help women in need feel more confident and comfortable, giving them the sense of dignity that we all deserve.
Thank you American Eagle for your continued support!
