Donor of the Quarter: Gerber Childrenswear

This quarter, we are highlighting one of our top supporters and partners: Gerber Childrenswear. Gerber Childrenswear is a longtime supporter of Delivering Good and assists us through both new product donations and financial contributions. We sat down with the Gerber Childrenswear team to discuss their impact and the work that we do together.

When asked what originally inspired them to get involved with Delivering Good, Gerber said: “We were inspired that Delivering Good offers a simple and effective way to help millions of children, adults, and families facing poverty and disaster throughout the world.” Since our partnership began, it has evolved into an active relationship.

Gerber Childrenswear CEO and President, and 2019 Women of Inspiration honoree, Maria Montaño told us: “To be involved with an organization that is so highly trusted and does good in the world is an experience which makes me profoundly grateful. Through our partnership, we have donated over $25 million worth of new baby and toddler clothing to those in need.”

We are proud to partner with Gerber Childrenswear – over the years they have helped countless babies, children, and families with their generous donations and ongoing support. Through this partnership, Delivering Good is able to assist Gerber Childrenswear in carrying out their mission: “Gerber Childrenswear’s mission is to bring joy and comfort to every child. Partnering with DG charity allows us to carry out our mission by providing joy & comfort to children and families who face poverty or disaster.”

To Gerber Childrenswear, giving back means more than just donating. “Giving back doesn’t only need to be in the form of a donation; often times giving your time and attention or encouraging others to give their time and attention is even more valuable,” says Maria Montaño. Today’s children are our future. Gerber Childrenswear is dedicated to giving back throughout the year in order to make the world a better place and to ensure a brighter future for our children.
