A woman in great pumps is a confident woman and Taryn Rose makes that a reality for many. From time to time, Delivering Good faces a dearth of donations of work appropriate shoes for women in need. In order to combat this issue, our wonderful partner Taryn Rose, personally designed a comfortable, classic black pump and aided in distributing over 5,000 pairs of shoes across the United States. These shoes empower women who are facing poverty to confidently and successfully re-enter the workforce.
Delivering Good has distributed the shoes to community partners such as Bottomless Closet, Central City Neighborhood Partners, Family Focus Englewood, Project New Hope, and Chapman Partnership, all of which are focused on providing women in need with the self-esteem they need to succeed. Through this initiative, we were able to encourage women across America to walk into an interview or important occasion with confidence, hope and dignity.
“Taryn Rose, we are so appreciative of your shoes.” says Kamila Washington, Executive Director of Kamileon Professional Development. “It makes a tremendous difference when our clients can finish their look with a new stylish shoe.” With such a gracious partnership, Delivering Good hopes to continue inspiring more women and allow them to feel a sense of pride through fashion.
