Women’s History Month – Andrea Weiss

Delivering Good has impacted the lives of individuals and families experiencing poverty or recovering from a natural disaster throughout the world. Our mission is supported by a number of strong and dedicated women. This March, in honor of National Women’s History Month, Delivering Good will highlight some of the amazing women who have supported our mission and growth, during all stages of the organization.

We begin with Delivering Good’s Board Chairman, Ms. Andrea Weiss. Ms. Weiss, founder of The O Alliance, LLC and CEO of Retail Consulting Inc., has held senior leadership positions with some of the world’s foremost retailers such as dELiA*s, GUESS, L Brands, Ann Taylor, and The Walt Disney Company. After obtaining a Masters of Administrative Science from The John Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University, she completed her post-graduate studies at Harvard Business School and Northwestern University.

In addition to her exceptional work experience, Ms. Weiss provides both consulting services and operating expertise to leading private equity firms which led to her serving as a member of several public company boards including Chico’s, Cracker Barrel, and Nutrisystem.

Ms. Weiss symbolizes the importance of giving back. As a result of her philanthropic work, she has opened many doors for women and minorities. Delivering Good thanks Ms. Weiss for her commitment to serving the community and we are thrilled to have her as our new Board Chair.
