Lifetime Achievement Award
Rose Marie Bravo was Vice Chairman of Burberry, the international luxury goods company with headquarters in London, until June 2007. From 1997 until 2006, while serving as the Chief Executive of the company, she and her team embarked on a repositioning of the brand with strategic initiatives in design, marketing, merchandising, licensing, wholesale and retail distribution.
Daniel R. Milberg, President of Milberg Factors, Inc.
Vanguard Award
Dan Milberg is celebrating his 30th year at Milberg Factors, Inc. In October of 2016 he was named the firm’s President. Founded in 1935, as MGM Factors by Dan’s grandfather Ben Milberg, MGM would eventually become Milberg Factors, Inc. Today Milberg Factors, Inc. is one of the largest privately-held factoring / commercial finance companies in The United States.
Shinola
Company of Change Award
Detroit-based Shinola is a luxury design brand with an unwavering commitment to crafting products that are built to last—from timepieces to leather goods, jewelry to audio. Founded in 2011, the company operates an in-house watch and leather factory on the fifth floor of the historic Argonaut Building, where its team of artisans hand assembles luxury timepieces and crafts premium leather straps.
One Million Pairs of Socks Campaign
Delivering Good Impact Award
At this year’s Annual Gala, Delivering Good is proud to honor the companies and brands that have donated socks as part of our One Million Pairs of Socks initiative. In 2016 at an American Apparel & Footwear Association Legwear Committee Meeting, Isaac Ash, Founder and President of United Legwear and Apparel Co., challenged industry colleagues to donate one million pairs of socks to Delivering Good to help those in need. What started as a friendly challenge transformed into a national campaign, leading to five million pairs of socks collected and donated to people in need.
