Development Associate

JOB SUMMARY: Assist Development department with database, fundraising, general research, special events and administrative tasks.  Take full charge and responsibility of Employee Giving Program and more campaigns throughout the year.



Manage Delivering Good database, currently eTapestry.

Manage all financial donor gift and acknowledgement process, including bank deposits and acknowledgment letters. Follow Donor Acknowledgment Process which will be provided to you. Assist with end of year direct mail appeals and email campaigns.

Manage budget, plan, outreach and acknowledgment letters for Employee Giving donors.

Maintain Development Calendar.

Prepare board and committee reports for Development Department.

Draft formal correspondence as needed.

Run financial queries as needed.

Report and reconcile donations with outsourced finance department.

Research corporate philanthropy landscape and develop solicitation materials for employee giving programs.

Manage and coordinate solicitations of corporate employee giving funders for agency and programmatic gifts.

Handle Combined Federal Campaign and State Campaign submission process.

Assist with new database RFP process, database conversion and staff training.

Event support: maintain gift reports and guest lists for major fundraising events and assist with follow ups; assist with day-of event execution, including guest check-in

Coordinate volunteers for Development needs.

Other duties to be assigned as needed.



Passion for community service and social welfare

1-3 years experience in non-profit administrative support

Experience leading volunteers and interns

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

High proficiency in Microsoft office programs

Extensive experience with non-profit database maintenance and management, including Salesforce and Raiser’s Edge, highly desirable.

Knowledge of and experience with donor stewardship (outreach, acknowledgement, cultivation)

Ability to self-start and meet fundraising goals

Data Analyst

JOB SUMMARY: The Data Analyst is a full-time employee responsible for the maintenance, inputting and reporting of all in-kind and financial data in the Delivering Good system.


  • Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports
  • Record maintenance skills
  • Ability to prepare research reports and proposals
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Establish a proper reporting structure and distribution of In-Kind and Development Reports
  • Develop Guidelines for inputting data into the system


  • 2 years. Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Knowledge in working with eTapestry, Salesforce
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
